The volcanic craters of Rano Kau and Rano Raraku are two extraordinary sites on Easter Island and are both must-see attractions. A climb to the left side of the crater, over the top, and down into the bowl is a memorable journey - while hiking to the opposite lip of the crater is well worth the wait, as that is where you will find most of its Moai inhabitants. |
