Vietnam, Episode 18
Jeannie D and Janez arrive in Ho Chi Minh City where they explore the bustling city and culture of Vietnam. They take a trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels, well known under American War Time – an underground network 200km long – During the world of independence, Vietnamese guerillas built the labyrinth of narrow tunnels virtually underneath U.S. bases, using them to hide during bombing raids and to stage surprise attacks. They visit the floating market at Cai Be, to an authentic old house, and to a family-run business producing rice-paper-a key ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine.
